It is now build season, and The Blair Robot Project is busily working on building a robot for the 2009 US FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Lunacy.

Lunacy is played on a field that deliberately has a very low coefficient of friction. The robots are required to use wheels made out of a similarly slippery surfacee. Each robot's task is to throw orbit balls into trailers attached to opposing robots, while preventing opposing robots from scoring in their trailers.
