Team 449

Team 449 will be competing in the "Battle o' Baltimore" once again this year, and met at Eric's house over the weekend to prepare for our last Lunacy event. Various maintenance tasks were performed, and the main scoring mechanism was replaced.

Judging from observations made during the D.C. and then Chesapeake regionals, the team decided that a dumper-type robot would perform better than a shooter robot. Over the weekend, we constructed and began testing the dumper system. During the last hour of testing, the dumper began to consistently function properly.

A second modular battery charger was built, and more work was done on plans for training new programmers.
