Leadership

Positions

We have four elected leadership positions: President, Vice President of Finances, Vice President of Communications, and Vice President of Technology, who are collectively known as Upper Leadership. We also have between six and ten subteam leaders a year, appointed by Upper Leadership to run their subteam. Our subteams are mechanics, electronics, programming, and business.

Our current subteam leaders are Yuri Kim (business), Shrujana Kunnam (business), Eric Lei (mechanics), Esther Tang (mechanics), Sean Li (electronics), Aditya Das (electronics), Anika Dasgupta (programming), and Lilian Palosky (programming).

In addition to our subteam leaders, we have various mangerial postitions for team members who specialize in important roles that are not part of subteam leader responsibilites. Currently, there is one such position, held by Joshua Frost (Design Lead).

Upper Leadership

Four members make up the core student leadership of our team, guiding us and making sure that we are performing to our highest potential.

These people are collectively known as Upper Leadership, and consist of our President, Vice President of Communications, Vice President of Technology, and Vice President of Finances. Learn more about this year's leadership below.

Peter Nesin

President

Peter joined the team during fall of 2017, his freshman year. He was on mechanics for his first three years, and served as a mechanics subteam leader from 2019-2020 before becoming President for the 2020-2021 season.

Anika Seth

Vice President of Communications

Anika joined the team during the fall of 2019, her junior year. Previously, she had been with FTC Team 9794, Wizards.exe and earned them the Championship level Inspire Award. She joined scouting as a lobbyist during the 2019-2020 season. She was elected Vice President of Communications for the 2020-2021 season.

Christina Chen

Vice President of Technology

Christina joined mechanics during fall of 2018, their sophomore year. She became a mechanical subteam leader in the 2019-2020 season and was elected Vice President of Technology for the 2020-2021 season.

Devasena Sitaram

Vice President of Finances

Devasena joined mechanics during fall of 2019, her junior year. She was previously part of FTC Team 9794, Wizards.exe. She was elected as Vice President of Finances for the 2020-2021 season.
